Friends & Family is an on-line educational workshop designed for family members of a senior driver that are beginning to see signs that it's time for their friend or relative to stop driving. Surveys have shown that it is often easier for a family to discuss funeral arrangements and the passing of a loved one than it is to talk about that same loved one losing their driving privileges because they no longer are able to drive on local streets and highways. 

Our Friends & Family Workshop includes:

• Knowing the signs, what to look for when a senior driver is experiencing problems behind the wheel. 
• Understanding the problems seniors face and how it affects their ability to drive.
• Remedies and corrective measures you can offer to help a senior improve their driving skills as they get older
• Be ready with a list of options for a senior that no longer drives
• What to say and what not to say when discussing this life changing time in a senior's life.
• Learn how to open the channels of communication

Each of us will someday have to stop driving. It is one of the most traumatic times in a person's life, it can often feel to a senior that their lifestyle as they know it is over, but that is not the case. Public and private transportation, local shuttles and even electric golf cars are often acceptable alternatives to driving.
